Salary range:
R600 000 to R631 620 CTC per annum

This senior role will form the backbone of academic compliance, quality assurance, and operational integrity for Henley Business School. The Senior Academic Admin Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all academic administrative systems to ensure the institution meets internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements (CHE, DHET, and HEQCIS).

The right person will be an experienced academic administrator (5+ years), an excellent communicator with strong organisational and project management skills, and will be laser-focused on governance, policy management, and data accuracy across the entire student and academic lifecycle.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Compliance and systems: Leading statutory reporting (DHET, HEQCIS), ensuring data integrity, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and managing the   institutional governance framework.
  • Quality assurance: Managing internal policy alignment, overseeing the QA Intranet, and conducting regular process and template compliance audits.
  • Student lifecycle: Managing the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process, organising and preparing for key academic meetings (TLC, Marks Committee), and overseeing the entire Graduation and Certification Management process.
  • Leadership: Providing direction to department staff/interns and ensuring collaborative alignment across departmental projects.
  • Exams: Reviewing exam papers for compliance and managing examination policies based on best practices.
