People Development & Compliance Specialist 

Department: Henley Business School, Africa 

Salary range: R632 000 to R692 000 annual cost to company (CTC)

We’re looking for a People Development & Compliance Specialist who’s passionate about employee experience, engagement, and growth. This role is key to shaping a high-performance, inclusive culture - while ensuring our HR processes run smoothly and meet compliance standards. 

You’ll play a key part in: 

  • Driving employee engagement, onboarding, and well-being 
  • Managing compliance, reporting, and HRIS systems with precision 
  • Supporting performance management, learning, and development initiatives 
  • Ensure compliance with statutory HR reporting (Skills Development, Employment Equity) and support data tracking for BBBEE reporting as part of annual submissions  
  • Overseeing our Training Hub to keep accurate training records and schedules  

What you’ll bring: 

  • 5 - 8 years in progressive HR roles, with strong expertise in learning and development, compliance, and employee engagement  
  • SDF certification and hands-on experience preparing Workplace Skills Plans (WSP), Annual Training Reports (ATR), and Employment Equity submissions  
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong skills in HR administration, reporting, and data management (Excel proficiency essential)  
  • A passion for creating a positive employee experience and helping people grow 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
