Power up your capabilities

RISE! is an NQF level 6, CHE -accredited qualification that consists of five learning blocks delivered over a 12-month period. The course is underpinned by a systems-focused framework that allows you to master complex topics such as strategy, diversity and inclusion and builds your understanding of the business ecosystem. You’ll gain insight into how businesses operate and be able to identify both red flags and opportunities while developing the skills needed to manage operations and teams optimally.

All assessments are project-based and relate directly to your role within your organisation. In this way, learning is sustained, and you continue to grow beyond the life of the programme as you use the toolsets and models that you have learned.

The themes covered are those that middle to senior managers are expected to master, while the personal mastery component of the course enables students to understand themselves and others better.

Programme information

All applicants must submit:

  • A minimum of two years’ management experience. Examples of management roles include:
    -HR officers managing company policies
    -Finance controllers managing company budgeting processes
    -Brand officers managing aspects of brand plans
    -PR officers managing the execution of PR plans and media relations
    -Project management in any function
  • NQF 6 qualification or equivalent 
  • Proof of English proficiency (if your school and/or tertiary study was in another language).
  • If you have a minimum of five years working experience at a senior or strategic level and are without the required qualification, we would consider an application on the grounds of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
