The Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice: Africa

SAQA ID: 97814

Postgraduate programme

Fees

R88 200

The PGDip Africa is accredited on the same programme basis as the Henley Business School’s Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice (PGDip). You will develop a similar skillset, reframed for an African context.

The content is steeped in references, stories, and case studies led by facilitators with strong insights into the continent.

Authentic interaction and sustained business success in Africa require a deep cultural and commercial understanding. With 54 countries and 1,2 billion people, Africa is complex. For this need, we have designed PGDip Africa for individuals and organisations working with markets in Africa or planning expansion on the continent. Through greater cultural intelligence, new mental models, and expansion of your network in Africa, you can become the leader you want to be. Join us for a transformational journey through this remarkable continent.

What are some differences between the Henley PGDip and PGDip Africa?

Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice | PGDip

This programme offers a more traditional Henley “classroom-based” approach – with intermodular periods during which you put the theory from the contact sessions into practice in your workplace. Contact days, that occur periodically rather than every week, are followed by self-study modules.

Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice with Africa focus | PGDip Africa

Is a blended learning programme with an African focus. It consists of 40 weekly guided sessions that are supported with online assignments and assessments and virtual immersive experiences (via VR headset), for a lived experience of different social, cultural and business environments.
