Charles Henderson has been coaching and training managers and their staff for more than 25 years. He created the “Heroin to Harvard” master class to help leaders develop inspirational stories that strengthen relationships and inspire their followers to higher levels of performance. He also works with his clients to strengthen their capacity to mentor and coach new and developing talent. His work is anchored in research on emotional intelligence, social intelligence, rational intelligence and behavioural economics.
He is an educator in the executive education programmes at Henley Business School, GIBS Business School and Duke Corporate Education. Mr. Henderson has provided coaching and consulting services for a broad spectrum of organizations throughout Africa, the USA, Asia and Europe. He has worked with leaders at Standard Bank, The World Bank, International Finance Corporation, Nike, De Beers and Nampak to name a few. In addition, Mr. Henderson has worked with government, parastatal and not-for-profit organizations. Before coming to South Africa Mr. Henderson worked as a risk analyst with JPMorgan Chase on Wall Street. He also worked with Otis Elevator in leadership development and diversity management. Mr. Henderson lives between Johannesburg and New York.
